Average costs of getting to the SEC Championship game
As the tigers head to Atlanta for the SEC Championship Saturday, ABC 17 News looked into what it will cost the average fan to get to the Georgia Dome.
ABC 17 News checked the MU Tiger website for tickets, but those tickets have all been bought.
So ABC 17 News went to Stub Hub and found a little over 6,000 game tickets for sale there.
The cheapest ticket was $139.80 dollars per ticket and the most expensive was $5,885.25 per ticket.
The next step is calculating the cost of how to get there.
Using Priceline, ABC 17 News looked up flights out of both St. Louis and Kansas City.
The cheapest flight out of St. Louis was $328.20 roundtrip, with a layover in Charlotte.
The cheapest non-stop flight from St. Louis to Atlanta was $788.20 roundtrip.
Out of Kansas City, the best deal on a flight was $381.71 roundtrip with a layover in Houston.
The best price on a direct flight from Kansas City was $660.20 roundtrip.
