Columbia man sentenced for child pornography
A Columbia man was sentenced to 7 years in prison Monday for child pornography.
The Boone Co. Cyber Crimes Task Force started investigating 41-year-old Jarrod Hoffman in August 2013 by downloading child pornography from a computer traced to Hoffman’s house on Alpine Drive.
Investigators seized computers and other electronic media to find more than 30 videos of children being molested.
Hoffman was arrested on November 22, 2013 and charged with possession of child pornography.
