Multiple people arrested after raid at adult cabaret in Pulaski County

A club owner and numerous women entertainers were arrested after authorities raided an adult cabaret in Pulaski County Saturday morning.

Multiple law enforcement agencies served a search warrant at the “After Dark” club on Highway 28.

The warrant came after a long term investigation in which undercover detectives found the club to be violating numerous state laws, including suspected illegal alcohol sales, operating an adult cabaret after hours and entertainers dancing topless and nude.

When authorities searched the club Saturday morning, deputies found illegal drugs and alcoholic beverages. They also found four firearms, one that had been reported stolen from a federal law enforcement agency.

33-year-old Matthew Wagner, the club owner, was arrested at the scene and charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Authorities said additional charges against Wagner, as well as numerous other women entertainers who were arrested, are expected to be filed this week.
