Police arrest two suspects in Sedalia for robbing woman at ATM in Fulton

Two suspects have been arrested by Sedalia and Fulton Police Departments after allegedly forcing a woman to withdraw money from her ATM at gunpoint.

A 58-year-old woman told police she was assaulted in the 700 block of Grand Street. She said she was approached by two people who forced her to go to her ATM and take out an unknown amount of money at gunpoint.

The woman was taken to the hospital for her injuries and the suspects fled the scene.

Police said they received information that the suspects, 37-year-old Dorian Hughes, and 43-year-old Jennifer Hughes, were in the Sedalia area.

Both suspects were arrested for first degree robbery, first degree assault, armed criminal action, kidnapping, unlawful use of a weapon and tampering with a victim or witness.

Both suspects are being held on a $300,000 bond.

Police believe the suspects know the victim and they’re wanted for questioning by Fulton Police.
