Fundraiser on Saturday to help Super Sam
The little boy we’ve come to know as “Super Sam” is fighting for his life and community members will gather together Saturday morning to support him.
There will be a fundraiser at Woody’s Pub and Grub in Ashland starting at 10 a.m. Saturday.
The big event is a Poker Run. No pre-registration is necessary. The Poker Run will start at Woody’s. Each hand will cost only $10. The run will move to Mokane Bar and Grill to draw a card, then on to Thirsty Hog and Panhead Billys. It will wrap back up at Woody’s where the person with the best hand will win a prize.
But the event isn’t just for the Poker Run. People who want to participate can also stay at Woody’s for the day. There will be live music as well as a big raffle drawing and a pork steak dinner.
All proceeds will go towards Super Sam Santhuff’s family.
The event is put on by the Hooligan Charitable Riding Group. Event organizers are hoping to raise $18,000 for the Santhuff family.
