Two charged for meth, pot in Mexico

Two people were arrested Tuesday morning in Mexico for having illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia.

The East Central Drug Task Force among other agencies searched a home in the 500 Block of North Wade Street and found meth, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

21-year-old Robert Peak was arrested for possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

23-year-old Nikki Pinkston was arrested for possession of marijuana and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
