Monroe Co. woman killed in train crash

Troopers say a Monroe County woman is dead after getting hit by a train.

The accident happened Thursday evening southwest of Madison.

Investigators say Christy Mitcham, 40, of Madison failed to stop for an eastbound train and was hit.

Her vehicle flipped and Mitcham was thrown from the car.
