Boehm, Golden, Mauk will represent MU at SEC Media Days

Missouri head coach Gary Pinkel will head down to SEC Media Days with some of his team’s most outgoing players. Quarterback Maty Mauk, center Evan Boehm and defensive end Markus Golden will go to Birmingham. The Tigers will do their interviews Wednesday, July 16.

The SEC Media Days, which were expanded to four days, will start July 7 and going through July 10.

Boehm and Golden will anchor their respective lines in the 2014 season. Boehm is on the Rimington Award’s Preseason Watch list while Golden is on the Bednarik Award’s Preseason Watch List.

Mauk was thrusted into the SEC spotlight last season as he started for an injured James Franklin for four games. His best game came against Kentucky, when he went 17-28, 203 passing yards and five touchdowns. Mauk finished last season with 1071 passing yards, 11 touchdowns and two interceptions. He is one of three sophomores attending the event.
