Bunceton man dies days after head-on crash

A Bunceton man critically hurt in a head-on crash near Boonville earlier this week died from his injuries Saturday.

Geoffrey Henderson, 22, was flown to University Hospital after the crash around 1:30 p.m. Thursday.

According to Missouri State Highway Patrol reports, Henderson was hit head-on by a truck driven by 82-year-old Jerry McKee on Highway 87.

Henderson was not wearing a seatbelt.

Good Radio in Moberly reported Saturday that Henderson’s funeral was scheduled for Wednesday at Davis Funeral Chapel in Boonville.
