No arrests yet in deadly Boone County stabbing
A Boone County man has died after a stabbing Wednesday night.
Sheriffs deputies say Richard Bennett, 40, was found outside his apartment with multiple stab wounds and was rushed to University Hospital.
As of Thursday morning no arrests had been made, but investigators are following up on leads.
Neighbors in the 6100 block of West Wilcott Street said they heard the man screaming just after 9 p.m., but did not see what led to the stabbing.
At the scene there was little suspect information available.
One man told ABC 17 News he was related to the victim and that the victim lived on West Wilcott, but was not originally from Mid-Missouri.
