Cuartero, Tigers advance to nationals

Saturday the Mizzou golf team finished 25 under par ending in third in the NCAA Columbia Regional advancing to Nationals while Emilio Cuartero finished first seven under par on day 3.

Through out the day, Mizzou, Oklahoma State and Arkansas were tied and back and forth for first place.

Oklahoma State finished first overall 33 under par, Arkansas was 28 under par for second.

Senior Emilio Cuartero finished the day in first place scoring a 205 and ending seven under par.

Cuartero played for his family from Spain for the first time and said this was his best victory.
