Man pleads guilty to killing Mid-MO man and daughter

Ryan Coari pleaded guilty Monday to murdering a Mid-Missouri man and his daughter.

Coari pleaded guilty to two counts of second degree murder, two counts of armed criminal action, and first degree arson.

He was sentenced to two life sentences for the murders, two 30-year sentenced for armed criminal action, and one 7-year sentence for arson.

All of the sentences will be served consecutively.

Prosecutors say Ryan Coari killed the victims, Mike and Amanda Wieberg, during an attempted robbery over two years ago.

Both bodies were found in the rubble of Mike’s burned down home in Auxvasse in September 2011.

Ryan’s wife, Jacie, is also charged with two counts of second-degree murder and one count of first-degree robbery. Her trial has not been set.

Investigators later tracked down the couple and arrested them in Michigan.
