Hickman guard decommits from UT-Martin

Chris Clark will hit the recruiting trail again. The Hickman guard reopened his recruitment after decommitting from University of Tennessee- Martin.

Clark was one of the top players for the Hickman Kewpies boys basketball team, who finished second at the state tournament.

When asked what schools he would consider, Clark sent this text to ABC 17’s Austin Kim, “I honestly have no idea. If another D1 offer pops up, I’ll consider it. But right now, I’m thinking of JUCO’s & prep schools.”

The Skyhawks fired Jason James earlier this month after the team finished 8-23 this past season. James’ squad had five consecutive losing seasons.

Clark is a MBCA Class 5 all-state selection and also made the all-district team. He had 18 points and 8 rebounds in the state championship loss to CBC in March.
