Convicted murderer pleads guilty to robbing two Columbia banks

A convicted murderer who was released from prison on parole admitted to robbing two banks.

Hilary Miller, 41, pleaded guilty to robbing the Academic Credit Union on June 14, 2012 and Columbia Employee Credit Union on July 15, 2012.

In Oct. 2012, Miller was arrested in St. Louis by Columbia and St. Louis officers, as well as FBI agents.

Miller was released on parole in 2011. He was convicted of second-degree murder and first-degree robbery in Sept. 1991. He had also been previously convicted for two counts of armed criminal action.

Miller was sentenced to 14 years in prison for pleading guilty to the robberies.
