Thousands walk in winter commencements

Changing winter weather conditions did not slow down winter commencement ceremonies in Columbia this weekend.

About 2,300 students at the University of Missouri graduated in ceremonies across campus between Friday and Saturday.

At Columbia College, about 315 students were handed their diplomas by interim president Dr. Terry Smith during a service at noon Saturday.
