A Belle man was charged late Saturday after Maries County deputies found a suspected meth lab in his home that morning.

Keith “Tuff” Lansford, 50, was arrested during a search warrant on Highway 28 outside Belle early Saturday.

Sheriff Chris Heitman said in a news release deputies found methamphetamines, a suspected meth lab, guns and ammunition inside the home.

Lansford was charged hours later with attempt to manufacture a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and illegal possession of a firearm. He was being held Saturday night on $100,000 bond.
