Three Fulton schools on lockdown after threat

Three Fulton schools were placed on lockdown Wednesday after a threat, but police say the situation has been resolved.

Fulton police confirmed Fulton High School, Bush Elementary School and Bartley Elementary School were locked down following a bomb threat.

Officials said the lockdown was a precautionary measure.

Just before 3 p.m., emergency officials said the situation was “resolved” and all classes would dismiss at their regular time. Bus routes will run normally as well.

Fulton police Chief Steve Myers said 38-yea-rold Ryan Scott Bazer made a threat against a specific school bus and its driver, prompting the lockdown. The threat was a result of a domestic dispute.

Bazers is now wanted for making a terrorist threat.

Chief Myers said Bazers could be en route to North Dakota or Iowa, but he also has ties to Florida.

Local authorities say the FBI has been notified about the situation.
