Angie Yarnell now missing 10 years

The mother of Michelle “Angie” Yarnell, a woman missing for 10 years, is speaking out and asking for hunters to be on the lookout for signs of missing people.

Marianne Asher-Chapman has not stopped looking for her daughter since her disappearance in 2003, even though her daughter’s husband Michael Yarnell, admitted to accidentally killing her during a fight.

Because there was no body, Angie is still considered missing, and her mother will never give up hope.

Asher-Chapman says she goes out and looks for her daughter every chance she gets.

“I’ve been in caves, in sink holes, under homes. I just look. I look in burn piles. At first I was scared to death I would find something, but now I hope I find something. We need closure,” she said.

However, she says she is only one woman and is only able to do so much. Now, she and her organization “Missouri Missing” are asking for help.

“We are asking hunters to be aware of their surroundings. I know a whole lot of them in Missouri that have been found by deer hunters, dog walkers. If Angie is laying down there in Ivy Bend, maybe they could run across her,” said Asher-Chapman.

As for her son-in-law, she doesn’t believe his story for a second.

Michael Yarnell said he accidentally pushed Yarnell off a deck during an argument and then lost the body.

He is now on the streets after serving just four years.

“Last week, for the first time in years, I ran into him. I didn’t know what to say. He was with a really pretty lady. I fear for her,” she said.

Asher-Chapman says Yarnell is a danger to society and should never have been let out.
