Two Sturgeon men were arrested Monday morning following a drug search warrant near an elementary school.
The Boone County Sheriff’s Department and Sturgeon police served the search warrant in the 300 block of Harris Street. Law enforcement found crystal methamphetamine, more than $5,000 in cash, electronic scales and packaging materials.
Police say the residence is within 1,000 feet of Sturgeon Elementary School.

Authorities also arrested Jason W. West, 39, for an outstanding arrest warrant and for meth possession.
