Moberly police catch armed robbery suspect

Moberly police caught a May armed robbery suspect Saturday.

Joshua Butcher, 20, was arrested in the 100 block of Hagood on several Randolph County warrants, including Robbery and Armed Criminal Action.

Police told ABC 17 News the warrants relate to a May 5th robbery of an 18-year-old at the intersection of Emerson Street and Myra Street. Butcher allegedly pointed a handgun at the victim and took off with a cellphone and cash.

Butcher was taken to the Randolph County Justice Center and was being held Saturday night on $100,000 cash only bond.
