Child abductor on the loose in north central Missouri
An attempted child abductor is on the loose after trying to kidnap a boy in a Macon park, about an hour north of Columbia.
It happened before 10 Thursday night at the Jackson Street park. Macon police said a 13 year old was at the park when an older man came up and tried grabbing him.
When the boy fought back, the suspect punched him and ran away. His description is limited, but he might be Hispanic, dressed in all black and driving a white van.
