Two arrested on meth charges in Audrain County

The East Central Drug Task Force arrested two people for possession and distribution of methamphetamine.

Law enforcement arrested Allen Maxwell Vestal, 33 of Mexico, Mo. and Synthia Merie Johnson, 25, of Lakewood, Colo. were arrested early Saturday morning in the 1600 block of S. Clark Street in Mexico.

Officers found meth, chemicals and items used in the production of meth during a search of the residence.

Vestal was arrested for distribution of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond is set at $11,000.

Johnson was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. She posted an $11,000 bond.
