New president chosen for Boone Hospital Center

On Tuesday, Boone Hospital officials have announced that a new president has been chosen.

Jim Sinek will take over Aug. 12. Sinek is coming from Norfolk, Neb. where he was president and CEO of Faith Regional Health Services.

“He has a proven track record of taking hospitals to even higher levels of performance and we can expect that same focus for Boone and BJC.” says Sandra Van Trease, BJC group president.

Last month Boone Hospital announced 13 layoffs and that hours would be cut for seven others.
