Officers investigate rape at Columbia park

Columbia police said on Friday they are looking a possible rape suspect.

The 41-year-old victim said she was attacked at Cosmo Park, at 1615 Business Loop 70 E., around 2 a.m. Friday.

The attacker was apparently scared off by people who were approaching and left the scene in a truck.

He is described as a black man in his 30s, around 5-foot-6, with a slim build and medium complexion. He was driving a gray, full-size extended-cab pickup of unknown make and model.
