Missing hikers found at Rock Bridge State Park
Three missing hikers have been found at Rock Bridge State Park after being stranded during Thursday afternoon’s storms.
Columbia and Boone County fire crews responded to the park around 4:30 p.m. for a search and rescue.
Firefighters say the hikers crossed a creek, but the creek became swollen after the heavy rain and they could no longer make it back safely.
Emergency crews rescued the hikers safely and brought them to Fire Station No. 5.
