Rain doesn’t dampen Memorial Day weekend airshow
Rain delayed the start of Saturday’s part of the Salute to Veterans Air Show.
The free events continue 9:30 in the morning and last until 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the Columbia Regional Airport.
There is also a shuttle for $3, starting at both the Hearnes Center and the Jefferson City Memorial Airport.
On Memorial Day, the 25th-annual Salute to Veterans Parade will start at 9:55 a.m. in downtown Columbia.
An all-veterans parachute team will land on Broadway to kick off the proceedings.
