Jefferson City Council will see plans for the Oscars Classic Diner rebuild

Jefferson City Council members will see plans for the Oscars Classic Diner rebuild on Monday.

Oscars caught fire in January. The rebuild will return it to its original condition, and build a 1,200-square-foot addition.

The council will also hear about plans for a new fire station number three to replace the one on Industrial Boulevard. The new station would sit on Highway 179.

Also on that agenda is residency requirements for city employees and City Administrator Nathan Nickolaus’ presentation of city goals and a city vision.
