Moberly business robbed

Moberly police arrested a man for assaulting employees at a business and stealing something. The man walked into an unnamed business on Morley Street Thursday and, according to police, assaulted one of the employees before stealing something and running.

One employee chased the suspect while the others called 911. The suspect was caught and held until police arrived. Officers said he told them he wanted to hurt himself, and was taken to a hospital for treatment.

The suspect’s name hasn’t been released.
