The St. Louis Cardinal had to go 16 innings with the Arizona Diamonbacks Wednesday night, in a series where neither team gave up that easily.
Cliff Pennington’s RBI single in the bottom of the sixteenth sealed the victory for Arizona.
The Diamondbacks came from behind four times to tie or lead the game before finally winning it.
