Tracking quiet and comfortable summer weather this week

TONIGHT: I'm tracking more quiet weather tonight as skies look to clear overnight. A gentle breeze will keep things cool and comfortable as temperatures slowly drop to the mid 60s.

TOMORROW: Comfortable summer weather continues tomorrow with lots of sunshine being the story of the day. High temperatures look to reach the mid 80s, with winds out of the northeast at 5-10 mph. It'll be a great day to get outside.

EXTENDED: A stable, quiet pattern continues this week with persistent high pressure giving the region lots of sunshine and warm, but comfortable weather. We'll see temperatures slowly but surely climbing into the low 90s by Friday. While it will be warm, a lack of humidity will keep feels like temperatures down, making the heat much more tolerable. The best chance for any rainfall this week will come on Wednesday and Thursday, as a low pressure system to our south could allow for some pop-ups to stretch far enough north to reach the viewing area. That said, the majority of the region will stay dry throughout the week.
