Traffic Stop Leads to Chase

A suspicious activity call Saturday evening turned into a chase through a neighborhood that landed one man behind bars.Victor Houston is accused of not pulling over for a traffic stop on Wagon Trail Road, after deputies responded to calls for suspicious activity near a closed business there.According to a news release, Houston drove through stop signs, passed a vehicle in a no passing zone, and drove into the Clearview subdivision before jumping out of the car and running. A passenger was briefly detained but not arrested.Deputies eventually found Houston walking through the subdivision. He faces charges of resisting arrest and careless and imprudent driving. Houston was being held Saturday night on more than $9,000 bond.
