Hickman Wins

The Hickman Kewpies head coach David Johnson wanted his team to play with pride, and today he got just that.Coming off a tough lose to Rockhurst in the State Semifinals, the Kewpies jumped out quickly against Vianney and stayed ahead. Shooting 47% in the game, the Kewps used a stingy defense that forced 17 turnovers in their 65-53 win Saturday morning.Hickman was led by Junior Chris Clark who had 19 pts and 9 rebounds. Sophomore Jimmy Whitt added 14 points, 4 blocks and 3 steals for the Kewpies.
