Extra Snow Complicating Parking
Thousands of people are expected to pack downtown Columbia over the weekend for the True False film festival. But the extra snow could complicate parking.Traffic was already snarled by mid-afternoon Friday, and less parking is available because of the snow.It is difficult to find an open metered spot. Columbia has less than 6,000 spots downtown, and official say over 40,000 people will attend the festival.Event organizers suggest carpooling or taking the bus. City transit has the Fast Cat bus service dropping people off at venues every 10 minutes. But they also encourage people to walk or bike.
