3/2: Rain/Snow Chance Mon-Tue
After several days of freezing temperatures, milder air will move in for Sunday and Monday. Highs will reach the low 40s Sunday with increasing clouds then the middle 40s on Monday.A quick-moving system will drop in from the northwest Monday afternoon bringing light rain showers through the evening and overnight. As colder air arrives, light snow showers will be possible before daybreak Tuesday through the afternoon. Highs will stay above freezing through the day, reaching the mid-to-upper 30s. Light snow accumulations of 1-2″ are possible, mainly along and north of I-70. The highest accumulations will be north of HWY 24 and toward Iowa and Illinois.
