3/18: A Cool, Unsettled Week

Temperatures will stay below average through next weekend as the jet stream continues to stay south of us, allowing cooler air from Canada to move south. Highs will reach the upper 40s Monday and Tuesday but cool to the lower 40s Wednesday. A quick moving wave of low pressure aloft will bring a chance of light rain or snow to the area late in the day Tuesday but precipitation would be very light. Medium range forecast models show a stronger storm system passing to our south late Thursday through Saturday which could bring rain and snow to the area and keep our temperatures chilly.
