A weak area of low pressure will move across Texas and the Gulf Coast, bringing rain and snow to southern Missouri from late Tuesday afternoon into the overnight hours. Light rain will move into southwestern Missouri and move northeast late Tuesday afternoon, possibly reaching as far north as HWY 50 in Mid-Missouri. Light rain will mix with and change to snow Tuesday evening, ending by daybreak Wednesday. Measurable snow is possible, mainly along and south of I-44 with up to an inch accumulation. Higher amounts of 1-2 inches will be confined to southwestern Missouri. LIttle to no accumulation is expected north of I-44.
