Columbia Police arrest fugitive after chase through central city
A man wanted by police took them on a foot chase this morning through central Columbia.
Police tried to pull over Andres Munzo around 9:30 this morning. He pulled over but then took off through residents’ yards.
Cops finally caught up with him in the 800 block of Wilkes.
He was arrested on multiple charges including drugs, resisting arrest and assaulting a police officer.
A bond hasn’t been set.
