Shooting Reported in SW Columbia
Columbia Police are investigating a possible shooting. Officers responded to Chantilly Court and White Oak Lane at around midnight Friday. Witnesses in the neighborhood say they heard seveal gunshots, then a pause followed by more gunshots. Officers found ten shell casings at the intersection.Some witnesses say a white SUV sped away from the area after the shooting, but right now police don’t have any suspect description.There are currently no victims or property reported hit by gunfire.ABC 17 will have more information about the police investigation on ABC 17 News at 5.
