The two were in an on-and-off relationship. They said they were nice people, and there were never any problems from them. Neighbors say they’re shocked at what they saw just feet from their door last night.”We heard my sister walk out the door, and she said someone’s bleeding, so we ran out the door and there’s the woman laying on the ground, she’s just bleeding everywhere,” neighbor Kayla Stephens says.Stephens says shortly after that, ambulance and police were on the scene. Fisher was sent to the hospital in Marshall for her stab wounds and pronounced dead. Police tell us they don’t have a lot of details on how many times she was stabbed or what exactly happened. But they believe some of those questions could be answered by Thompson.”The off-and-on again relationship that he had with her, we believe he may have been the last one to have seen her, so we’d just like to speak with him regarding that,” Marshall police sergeant Roger Gibson explains.Police believe the stabbing happened in the parking lot. And Stephens tells us they heard a car honk from the parking lot, but couldn’t see anything when they looked out. And the following minutes are probably when everything happened.”Almost like 10 minutes later, that’s when all this stuff went on, so they were out here when it happened. I guess maybe she honked or he honked, I don’t know, but I know she fell against our car,” Stephens says.Police say they’re working with several other agencies including the highway patrol to locate Thompson.Terry Thompson is 45 years old, about 5’11”, weighing about 180 pounds.
