MO Unemployment Rate Drops

New data from the Missouri Department of Economic Development released Tuesday shows the state’s unemployment rate at its lowest level in over four years.The seasonally-adjusted unemployment rate dropped to 6.7 percent. That figure is down two-tenths of a point from the October 2012 level.The national rate for November was 7.7 percentThe state says employment dropped by 6,800 last month, but 31,000 new jobs have been added in Missouri since December 2011.
