A Columbia man was arrested Saturday evening for assaulting and threatening a woman.Boone County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a reported assault in the 1000 block of North Kathryn Drive around 6 p.m. The victim said 45-year-old Kenneth H. Isenberg came to her apartment and began assaulting and threatening to kill her.Isenberg allegedly held the victim in her apartment for several hours before she was able to convince him to let her leave. The victim then called authorities.Deputies say when they arrived, Isenberg refused to let them into the apartment. The deputies then entered the apartment and arrested him.Isenberg was arrested for third degree assault, felonious restraint, unlawful use of a weapon, resisting arrest and second degree property damage. His bond is set at $14,500. He also had outstanding warrants for forgery and receiving stolen property, as well as a probation violation warrant.
