Crews Investigating Lake Fire
The Sunrise Beach Fire Marshal and the State Fire Marshal are investigating an early morning fire at an area sports club.Firefighters were called to the Ship & Shape Fitness located on North State Highway 5 around midnight Tuesday. Crews found a fire located on the second floor balcony and were able to keep the fire contained to the balcony.That part of the structure suffered heavy damage, but firefighters say that damage to the rest of the building was limited. No damage estimate was available.Officials have determined the cause of the fire to be “incendiary” and are still investigating.
