Active Meth Lab Bust
Boone County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a man for allegedly manufacturing methamphetamine inside a trailer home Friday evening. Rusty A. Modglin, 40, is accused of manufacturing a controlled substance and trying to flush drugs down the toilet when deputies served a search warrant on South Ponderosa St. in Blue Acres Trailer Park. Deputies said evidence they collected in that trailer home indicates that it was an active meth lab. Another man, Jamie K. Davis, 28 , of Columbia was arrested for failing to appear for three City of Columbia warrants.
