Shooting Victim Not Cooperating
***UPDATE 6:12 P.M.***Police arrested Jerry Goldman, 30, in central Columbia around 1 a.m. Thursday, and ABC 17 News sources confirm he is related to the victim in the shooting on Bonny Linn Drive. One hit the victim, a second entered the front door of the victim’s home and a third hit the neighbor’s front door.Investigators also say that four additional rounds were fired from inside the home.***ORIGINAL STORY***A Columbia man was shot in the leg late Wednesday night, but police say he’s not cooperating with their investigation. The shooting happened around 10:30 p.m. on Bonny Linn Drive. Officers were called to reports of a gunshot victim at the home, but when they go there, the victim was gone. They say there was evidence of a shooting at the home, but didn’t specify what that was.Police found him later at a hospital with a gunshot wound in his thigh, but say he wouldn’t talk to them about the shooting or the suspect. The victim is expected to be okay. No suspect information is available at this time.
