New President Named at Lincoln

Dr. Kevin Rome was named the new 19th president of Lincoln University on Friday. He will start his new term in June.The previous leader, Dr. Carolyn Mahoney, announced her retirement in April. She officially stepped down August 15.The three finalists for the job were interviewed on campus in late November.Rome got his master’s at the University of Georgia and doctorate from the University of Texas in Austin.
