Linn Man Picked Up for Pot

A Linn man was arrested Friday night for having a large amount of marijuana, cash and vehicles likely bought using drug money.Sheriffs deputies searched Allen Burnett’s Highway 89 Spur home Friday and found $1400 worth of pot, almost as much cash, a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado, a 1999 Chevrolet Suburban, and a 2001 Honda ATV.Burnett has been charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and was being held Saturday on $50,000 bond. The Missouri State Highway Patrol and the Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group also helped in the investigation.”We are constantly working to identify the drug problems in our county,” said Sheriff Mike Dixon in a news release. “Taking drug dealers off our streets is one of the top priorities for everyone in law enforcement .?�
