Farmer Charged for Dead Cattle

A Mid-Missouri farmer is now facing criminal charges for 16 dead cattle. This week, prosecutors filed one felony count of animal abuse against Ed Coleman. He lives in Morgan County just south of Stover.Authorities seized 19 cattle from his property, but ;ess than two weeks ago, the Humane Society said another calf had died. The rest were transferred to a ranch in the area.Coleman had to pay a $200 fie and his next case review is set for March.
