1/12: Saturday Rain/Sleet/Snow
***UPDATE SATURDAY 4:30 P.M.***SATURDAY 4 TO 8 P.M.Rain will begin to change over to a wintry mix/sleet, mainly northwest of HWY 54 and west of HWY 63, before becoming all snow. All snow is likely farther west, toward the HWY 65 corridor. Rain will still continue near the I-44 corridor and Lake of the Ozarks.SATURDAY 8 P.M. TO SUNDAY 2 A.M. Precipitation will mainly be in the form of snow for most of Mid-Missouri, especially north and west of HWY 54. Minor accumulations of 1-2″ will be possible for much of the area, with locally heavy amounts near 3″ possible toward the HWY 65 corridor. Rain may change over to sleet or freezing rain near the I-44 corridor. Minor ice accumulations are expected in our southern counties. Temperatures will continue to drop into the middle 20s.SUNDAY 2 TO 7 A.M. Cloudy and cold with flurries and little to no additional accumulation. All precipitation will shift eastward out of Mid-Missouri. Temperatures will be in the low 20s by early Sunday morning.
