MU Health Care CEO stepping down this month
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
MU Health Care CEO Jonathan Curtright will leave his job on July 15.
Curtright is leaving to take a job in Oklahoma as COO at OU Health, MU Health said in a news release Tuesday. He has led MU Health Care since 2016.
Curtright has overseen several major MU Health Care projects, including the in-progress move of its children's hospital to the main hospital campus near downtown Columbia. He also oversaw the expansion of clinical services into north Columbia and Boonville.
University of Missouri Vice Chancellor for Health Affairs Nim Chinniah has been named the interim CEO, according to the news release. Chinniah is the primary deputy for clinical operations under Rick Barohn, MU's executive vice chancellor for health affairs. He has held leadership positions at other universities and has helped MU Health Care with strategic and financial plans as a consultant, according to the release.
MU is hiring the executive search firm Spencer Stuart to search nationally for a new CEO, the health system said.
