RECALL ROUNDUP: Aldi cream cheese and electric ranges recalled

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Aldi cream cheese

Aldi has recalled four types of cream cheese due to possible salmonella contamination.

The grocery store chain has recalled its 8-oz. whipped cream cheese, regular cream cheese and its chive and onion and strawberry flavored cream cheese.

The affected products have a sell-by dates between Aug. 20 and Sept. 15.

Aldi says to either throw the cream cheese away or return it to the store for a refund.

Elextrolux Frigidaire Kenmore smooth-top freestanding electric ranges

The Consumer Product Safety Commission has recalled about 203,000 electric ranges.

Regulators have recalled the Frigidaire and Kenmore smooth-top electric ranges because the product can possibly turn off and on by itself.

The recalled range can also heat to different temperatures than what is selected, which poses a fire and burn hazard to users.

The affected products were sold at Sears and independent appliance stores nationwide from June 2001 through August 2009.

Owners should contact electrolux or register online to be a part of this recall.

A serial number will determine if owners have range that can be repaired or not.
